Stuff We Love

Lot's of amazing things have been happening in the past few years, that inspire us. In this blogpost we want to share an assorted (and growing) list to boost your horizon on what's possible.

• SpaceX Falcon Heavy Booster Landing: The thing that kicked us off. Years of professors telling us it's not possible to re-land a rocket on earth and that reusability is a dead end.. And then SpaceX just lands a rocket booster right on that preconception. -> Almost nothing is impossible. It's just our fear of failure holding us back. In fact, a lot of things considered impossible in the past are now state of the art technology.
• Richard Browning's Gravity Industries: This crazy dude actually built an Ironman suit for flying. Check it out!
• Franky Zapata's Flyboard Air: Awesomeness from our French neighbors! This time the guy is standing on a deck of jet engines and flies like the Green Goblin in Spiderman.
• Jetman Dubai: No question, very cool! Probably the fastest (and most stable) jetpowered flyer in this list. Sadly they stopped operations after the crash of the dreamer. But they proved it possible, nonetheless.
• Wingsuiting by people like Jeb Corliss: This is also super fast, and really nothing for the feint hearted!
• Red Bull Stratos: The most insane skydive ever! Felix acutally jumped alle the way from the top of the sky, from outside of the sky, from "you can't even see the sky anymore"! Respect.
• Space Walking and walking on the Moon: This list would not be complete without the final frontier. This is freedom, courage, and a positive future distilled and bottled up for your pleasure! We need to get back into that spirit.

• Boredpanda/Simpleghar: apparently we are part of the "Biggest Names in the Tech Industry" 😂 These guys just created their own renders of our concept without ever talking to us and gave it the name "Freedom suit". Funny. And looks cool! Nevertheless, the design would probably not work...
• The Unreal Engine 5 Demo flying part. Gives me goose-bumps every time.
• Hayao Miyzaki's Anime with flying things, like Laputa: Castle in the Sky and The Wind Rises
